Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience in IT
  • Solid grasp of IT system and project life cycles
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical project management principles
  • Familiarity with the PMBOK guide
  • Understanding of project financial management (profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, resource utilization)
  • Awareness of offshore software development nuances
  • Proficiency in project management tools: JIRA, TFS, BugTracker, MS Project
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and Waterfall methodology
  • Hands-on experience with Scrum
  • Previous involvement in fixed-price projects is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional certification preferred
  • Native German speaker with fluent English proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Lead project development from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and resource constraints
  • Communicate client business needs effectively to the project team
  • Negotiate, define, and manage project scope
  • Develop and maintain project plans, adjusting as needed to meet evolving requirements
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, reviewing team deliverables
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring timely invoicing
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for all project deliverables
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations
  • Coordinate internal and external project communications, facilitating effective exchange of information and deliverables
  • Continuously enhance customer satisfaction and foster client relationships
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; communicate findings effectively
  • Collaborate with company managers to secure necessary project resources
  • Cultivate and support an effective, collaborative project team; promote individual and collective performance
  • Mentor team members to support their professional growth
